To recognize the contribution and achievements of community members at the annual awards gala.

To recognize the contribution of community members towards significantly improving the relations between other countries and Canada at the annual awards gala.

Council shall strive to promote humanitarian, professional, social, cultural and educational interests of its members, develop understanding between members of the community as are interested in the welfare of this community, and make the latter aware of issues of concern to the community at large.

Council shall help promote and retain Indo languages and cultural traditions as essential components of multiculturalism in Canada.

Stand for the humanitarian rights of individuals and causes related to equality/ equity

Stand against any forms of discrimination, human trafficking, racism, poverty, homelessness, and any forms of non-equity and equality
